Xmas brew kit arrived at 12:30pm yesterday, by 7 pm I was pitching yeast, and my airlock started bubbling mid morning today . Used a partial mash British Bitter Kit from my LHBS that smells great and tasted good before the ferment. Only trouble was a faulty thermometer that made me almost over chill the wort in the ice bath. Thanks for all the old posts that I've poked around in and found answers to most of my questions so far.
