I bottled a lambic 2 weeks ago that I had brewed over 7 months ago. I checked in on the bottles today and there does not appear to be much carbonation going on. I primed it as I do any beer with the 3/4 cup bag of priming sugar.

Also, there appears to be some gunk floating on top of the beers. I know that this is cause for worry for most beers, but since this beer is pretty wild anyways is this uncommon?

Thanks,

dg

It's been 2 weeks, crack it open and try it. If it taste bad/funny, don't drink anymore. Put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to get it cold. It'll be a better determination of carbonation (may not be the best option, but it's fast and it worked for me).
