Need a Blue Paddle clone

I'm looking for an all grain recipe that will produce something like New Belgium's Blue Paddle lager. On their website, they describe it as being a Czech style pilsner-lager. If anybody has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
 
Seriously, any advice for a recipe of that type would be appreciated. I've only done ales up until this point and my book doesn't cover much on lagers. What base malt should I be using? What hops would you recommend? Yeast? What are the defining characteristics of Czech style beers?
