Brewing my first lager, and noticed that the krausen was only 1/2" high. It lasted for a couple days then fell back in. I still have vigorous bubbling, about 1 per second. I’m on day 4 for primary. I was wondering is this usual for a lager? Should I pitch more yeast? Or am I being an over concerned brewer?

Your being an over concerned brewer. RDWHAHB as they say. Lagers do some funny things during fermentation. As long as the temps are right, just let it do it's thing

you are just fine man. I had a 1.104 strong belgian ale that had maybe 1/4 inch krausen for two weeks...hardly any at all. Just little bubbles constantly. 1.104 down to 1.018...you do the math. RDWHAHB
