Hello, I have a batch of IPA fermenting. I'm going to transfer to the secondary fermenter this weekend, and was wanting to boost the alcohol content by using brown rice syrup. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Gluten-free brewers use it. It will definitely change the flavor of your beer. If you really just want alcohol, use corn or simple sugar.
