So I see people posting their recipes on the board here in the following (or similar) format:

Recipe Type: Partial Mash

(that's not my recipe... i just copied the first one i came to here on the boards... looks tasty though!)

is this a report that i'm not finding in beersmith? or is it a report generated by another piece of software? if so, where in beersmith or what software? or are people just creating this by hand?

i can create a brew day report in beersmith, but it doesn't look anything like the above.

That's what the plain text looks like. But when I do a preview it gets all F'd up. It truncates it. So I'm guessing they change it to that format and copy and paste.
 
how to i make one of those? i hit the report "brew steps" button in the recipe and a new window pops up and i don't see an option to convert to plain text.
