I'm wanting to upgrade my tubing scattered throughout my system. I utilize 1/2 barb fittings and have been looking at the various offerings from McMaster Carr.

I "think" I want the 1/8 soft wall tubing. Honestly, that's a guess on my part. Basically I'll be plumbing a March pump and various connections to and from MLT, HLT, Boiler, etc.

What do you guys use? Suggestions?

How so??? .75-.5=.25

1/4=.25

1/8=.125

Two walls!

.75 OD - .50 ID = .25 total wall thickness. Measured from one tube surface to the opposite surface, you pass through the wall of the tube twice - so you have to divide the total wall thickness by 2, giving you a 1/8" wall thickness.

To the OP point, I use the .5" ID, .125" wall thickness stuff. Works great. I'm using the 'white' stuff, not the tan... More flexible.

Sounds like what I had in mind... Think I'll go for it.

Thanks Guys...
