I bought a chest freezer today. 15 cu ft Frigidaire. I want to split the compartment in half, one for serving and one for fermenting. I have a pdf that i found here (originally from Zymurgy) that talks about this. I mentions that i need a thermocouple and then two controllers. please give me some recommendations. price is a consideration because i just bought the freezer.

Can one controller to both heating and cooling for the same unit? I see two stage controllers but I can't find any info about them.
