Just finished bottling my first batch - Irish Stout. SG was 1.042 and FG was 1.011 which was right on what was expected. I let it go 7 days in the primary fermenter and then racked it over to a carboy for another 7 days. Ended up with a 49 bottle yield. It would have been 50, but I ended up spilling about a bottle worth during my bottling woes.

After bottling for the first time, I can see the attraction to kegging. I'm seriously considering putting a refrigerator in my garage!

I can't let these fermenters go to waste, I'll be brewing a new batch tomorrow. This time it's Copper Ale from Midwest. Should be a good middle of the road ale (not too hoppy, not too malty) at about 5.3% ABV.

I'm looking for a good IPA to brew as my 3rd batch. Does anyone have any suggestions?
