I use a walk in closet with no windows when the beer is fermenting in the carboy because it is not humid and the temperature stays consistent. After pitcing my chocolate coffee stout the temp for days 1-2 was about 68-70 on the thermometer and the airlock was hopping like crazy. We had a cold front move through and it went down to 62-64 and has been that way for the last 5 days. The first day the temp dropped the very large krausen vanished and the airlock stopped. Should I be worried? I have read many threads here and have learned to respect my fellow home brewers opinions.

Except for my "grew" thread!;)

that's completely in the safe zone for 99% of yeasts. what kind did you use? OG? it's probably just slowed down because they're just working their way through the brew.
