priming barley wine

I have a recipe for a barley wine but it does not say any thing about priming at bottleing time. I have looked at other recipe's and some tell you to prime and some say nothing about it. Any Ideas?

I think it is generally accepted is low carbing with about 3.5 ounces of priming sugar.. if you are bottle carbing.

I am bottle carbing, so do I add 3/4 cup to the 5 gall before bottling like usual?

Sorry, my brain is a little shot. But 3.5 ounces is not 3/4 cup. I would get a digital scale at walmart (accurate and cheap) and measure out the 3.5 ounces. That is what I am planning to do with my Barley Wine type brew... you don't want to over carb a barley wine.
