When to plant hops?

What time of the year should hops be planted? I assume spring but spring up here for me comes a little later than most in North America

What is a good temperature to plant a rhizome? Once temps stop going below freezing?

Exactly. When you're soil is easy enough to work with, and the temps are consistantly in the 40's at night, it's a perfect time.
