Hey,

OK, I'm looking to brew my next best batch and need some suggestions.

The only restrictions I have is I have no more money available for purchase of new materials.

Here is my current inventory (approx.):

Grains:
75#+ Canadian 2-row
50# Maris Otter
10#+ Black Patent
10#+ Chocolate
10#+ Roasted Barley
1# White Wheat Barely
10oz Flaked Oats
9# Flaked Wheat
1# Caramel 40L

Hops (pellets):
4oz Warrior
1.5oz US Fuggle
2oz Northern Brewer
2oz Czech Saaz
3oz Hersbrucker
3oz Simcoe
5oz Amarillo
1oz Liberty
.5oz Willamette
.5oz Cascade

Yeast (dry):
2-6g Muntons
2-10g Safbrew t-58
2-7g Coopers
3-1.5g Safale US-05
1-11g Nottingham

Anyone have a good recipe I could brew up with these ingredients?

Cheers,

Tim

Well, as you can see I seem to have quite a few dark grains as I like dark beers more than the light ones.

However, my friends tend to like the light ones better.

I tried to brew a Blue Moon Clone the other day but it was clear as a bell so the recipe I found must have been wrong. I wouldn't mind finding a good wheat to brew but was not sure my current stock would allow that.

Well, I don't have Beersmith but do have ProMash.

Thanks,
Tim

looks like a stout to me!

i threw this together in beersmith in about 5 mins:

7lbs maris otter
1lbs crystal 40
10oz flaked oats
8oz chocolate
4oz roasted barley
1oz black patent

2oz hersbrucker 60min
1.5oz fuggles 15min

nottingham yeast

OG 1.052
color 27.2
IBU 33.7

sub whatever you want for the bittering hops, i was just trying to stay with low AA stuff, and save the fuggles for flavor.

let me know how it turns out if you try it.
