hey folks: Since I have a rather cool basement and no kegerator at this time I was thinking about this method. What are ideal temps for this process?
How much temp fluctuation can a brew handle? I'm going to sample the temperature over the next week to determine the highs and lows. To ensure less change I guess I can insulate my keg before putting in the right part of my basement. thanks Charlie

Looks like the little basement room is holding at 48-50F(8-10C). I think I'll carbonate the kegs at 65F and move into the chillly room. Free refrigeration.
