Another kegging newb question

Alright -

This is the last one (I think):)

Anyway - I got the tank filled, hooked up the gas and hit the keg (empty) with about 20 psi. NO LEAKS!

BUT...

I heard this very little noise from within the regulator. Normal?

Regulators operate by balancing a pressure diaphragm against a spring to control gas flow. They tend to be noisy. When the pressure stabilizes, the noise should stop.
