I just bought my first peice of equipment today. I picked up a use 15.5 gal keg from the scrap yard for just under $50. Fair price? I'm looking forward to buying the rest later this week. Thanks to all the posters on here for all the great info. CHEERS:rockin:

Definately a fair price on the keg. I've seen them going for well north of that on eBay. Converted kegs are definately the way to go for full-wort boils, IMHO.

There are plenty of online sources for corny kegs. I don't know what I'd do with 7.5 gal kegs - perhaps a pimary or something?
