I just got a Bayou Classic Burner and an Outdoor Gourmet 36 qt aluminum kettle as gifts from my fiancÚ. Any concerns with these items as I get closer to all grain?

I have a 20qt stainless kettle I use for extract that I plan to use for my strike and sparge water heating and a 5 gallon water cooler mash tun. I plan to make a wort chiller soon. Hopefully I will be ready for my first all grain attempt before too long.

I'm looking to upgrade from my 20qt kettle so I can do full boils, and your 36qt is by far the least expensive one I've seen. So while I have no advice for you, I'm definitely interested in how you like it.

My only gripe is that it's aluminum. I have used a turkey fryer for the past 5-6 years on extract and all grain and it's showing it's age and getting it really clean is a PITA. Once I get my keggles up and running I will donate my turkey fryer pot and burner to someone just starting to brew

Late getting back to this post, i've done 3 batches in this kettle now and so far so good. I had to do a couple "boil in" sessions with it to season it a bit but other than that its fine for now.
