I know it's not very accurate, but have any of you that use a corona mill and have it "dialed in" measured the gap? I came by one for free, so I figured I'd give it a try until I can afford a roller mill. My LHBS's idea of a good crush seems to be if all the grain makes it through their mill unscathed!

Thanks.

I just checked mine (it's a Porkert) and the teeth on the plates are only about 1MM apart. It varies a little bit because it doesn't rotate cleanly but that was the widest spacing I found.

I just put a little grain in and adjust it as I slowly turn to what looks perfect, then toss the rest in and fire up the drill!
