How long can you keep sour dregs for before pitching?

I took mine out of the refrigerator overnight and forgot to throw them in the carboy, and then put them back in the fridge. Can I still use them?
 
Think about how much time the dregs spent in the bottle before you poured them out (in transit, at the distributor, at the beer store, in your closet etc...), if they can make it through that journey a day out of the fridge it nothing.
