Seems I have a bumper crop this year. Has anyone ever heard of it being used in a brew?

Never heard of it in a beer, but your question makes me chuckle since I was thinking the same thing last night when I was putting horseradish in my sandwich.

sounds like I might have to try this...I think a little residual sweetness will go well with the horseradish warmth. Something amber or red, and lower on the IBU's.

I love horseradish! What if you added it to Apfelwein? It's already dry...it might add a bite to it....!

I actually tried making an IPA last winter with wasabi. It didn't pan out, though - I used powder, and even after adding 5 tablespoons to my secondary, the flavor never came through. Using actual roots, though, might work out pretty well.
