I heat my first sparge water to 195-200F to get my grain bed to about 165F. My question is, should I heat up the second batch sparge water as hot? Or is it not that important? Thanks.

In my experience, by the time you've drained the first batch, the grain bed is down far enough in tempt that you need the second batch to be the same temp as the first. Though 195-200? I usually shoot for 185 and I get to 170 in the grain bed. Are you not using a cooler?
