Tomorrow, if the weather stays good, I will be doing my first AG :rockin: And to everyone's surprise it will be Ed Wort's Haus Pale Ale (800+ gallons brewed, its got to be good!).
I've read through Bobby's AG Primer, HowToBrew AG section as well as Home Brewing Wiki and have done the basic calculations with pen and paper.
Now correct me if I'm wrong:
I take the pre-boil OG and the amount of wort collected and plug those values into BeerSmith's "Efficiency Into Boiler" category.
I then take my post-boil OG and amount of wort and plug the OG into "Actual OG" and the amount of wort into "Efficiency Into Fermenter: Actual Batch Volume"
Does that sound right?
Cheers
