I have a Apfelwein that is fermenting and everything was fine for the first few days. On about day 3 I realized that the airlock (cylinder style) wasnt bubbling anymore. I just figured there wasnt much fermenting action going on anymore, but looked closer the next day and realized that the water level was to low and that is why it wasnt bubbling. Is my Apfelwein ruined? I added more water and now the airlock is bubbling. The smell from the airlock isnt very pleasant, but I was told that was normal with the yeast I used.

:drunk:

THANKS in advance!

No, it's not ruined. It's really hard to ruin Apfelwein so you'll have to work much harder than letting your airlock get low to ruin it. :D
