Need feedback on logo/label

I have finally decided on a brewery name and I have decided to make labels for beers that will be given as gifts.

I am an inkscape virgin, but I came up with this:


What do you guys think? Is the background too busy? Should it be a solid colour instead? I like the idea of using a picture that I took (I'm also into photography), but I'm not sure if it works.

I plan on using this label as a template and just changing the name and background picture depending on the beer.

Any input would be awesome.

Not krausen... although that could make an interesting picture.

It's a waterfall. Cascade, waterfall.... get it?

I would upload the inkscape file, but I have no where to upload it to. On my monitor, it's pretty close to the size it'll be when printed, which is roughly 11x8 cm

damn metric syste,m! 5.25x3.75. tricky ricky. a full boil fermenter shot would be a killer label for sursies.
