This is the "Beaver keezer." The orange and black are Oregon State University's school colors. I used the NB how to video and the many helpful threads on this forum and NB to help. Thank you for all the great info.

I'm trying to troubleshoot foamy pours and air in my liquid line on the first keg I've tapped from the new keezer. Please see my post https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/air-liquid-line-keezer-413274/#post5227737. If you can offer any help, I'd be very appreciative.

I like it!

I love all the keezers and custom builds. I wish I had the space for a keezer and the woodworking skills that some of you have! As it is, my beer fridge blocks my closet door, but we all have our priorities, right?

Here are a few pics of my beer/wine area setup.

nice to see the yuengling in there!
my aunt and uncle live out in HB, and they LOVE it!

Those are "Special" beers! Haha... I grew up and lived in New Jersey until I was 29. There is always some Yuengling in my checked luggage when I return from a trip to see friends/family out there.

There's a bar in The Valley that gets 1/6th kegs of Yuengling and has it on tap from time to time. I also have a Yuengling clone that I do when my garage will stay cold enough to lager.

You need to get another 3 gallon keg in there. I have the same set up and it'd great.

How long does that co2 cylinder last? Is it the 20oz size from kegconnection?

16oz. From Midwest. From what I've seen on other setups, a couple carbed kegs if you're careful. Expect one. I haven't run a batch through it yet, just built yesterday and have a batch that needs a few more days on dry hops before it goes in.

Won't fit. That corny goes about 2/3s of the way, room enough for a twelver of cans and some ice.

It's not that pretty, but it works great and it's MINE :ban:

The hardest part was coming up with the cash to buy a new fridge for the kitchen so I could have this one. :drunk:

Money well spent! :mug: Same thing I did on my fridge, down to the drip-tray-hose-into-bucket. Doesn't have to be pretty, get some badass brewing stickers, make magnets with bottle caps, paint it with chalkboard paint, all that matters is you have four taps of brew now. :rockin:

Hey ladies and mostly gents.

I am pretty new to this Forum thing and have a couple questions about my keezer build.

I have read quite a bit about what ill need for the Keezer and ive already got my GE Freezer 7.0, and ordered my Johnson temperature controller. Now the question, what do I need for the beer.

I looked on KegConnection.com and saw they have some kits, but im not sure what one i should buy. I was 4 taps, and would like to make it easy and just buy it all together. If someone could tell me what kit to buy id much appreciate the help. Also if it helps, I dont brew my own beer(Yet) so i would be buying the beer from beevmo or a local beer shop. Thanks guys

First determine if your freezer will hold 3 or 4 kegs and most likely you'll need to build a collar. Search your model number on this board and most likely you'll get your answer.

If you can afford it go with the perlick faucets.

4-5 kegs

CO2

Don't hesitate to give KegConnection a call or email them with any questions. They have always been great to work with and will help you out.

AWESOME! Thank you SO much!
I already did some research on the Freezer, its the GE 7.0 and it will fit 4 kegs with a 5lbs C02. ! but thank you!

GE makes a few different versions of the 7.0 freezer. One holds 3 and the other holds four.

The best tip I got years ago when I went Freezer shopping was to take cardboard cut outs of the round footprint of kegs. I laid these in the bottoms of the different freezer models to make sure of the fit.

For example:
. O O [ * ]
. O O [ O ]

* = CO2 tank

Ok, I have the one that will hole 4 Ball lock, and 3 Pin lock.

But now i have another question. I'm not doing any home brewing yet. I plan on getting Commercial Kegs from my local beverage store. Are they the same size? or are the 1/6 barrels which is 5.17 GALLONS, which would be bigger, correct?

I think by lbs you mean gallons?

Yes, 1/6 barrel kegs have a slightly different size. Check out this fantastic thread:

Here is the start of my keezer. Let me know what you guys/gals think so far. I will be wiring my temp controller this weekend, Where can I get the best deal on my equipment (I have the kegs already)?

Added my temp controller yesterday, and will mount it on the back of keezer today. Works great!

Looks good so far, I built a rolling platform for mine so it would be easy to move around.

I've been done with this for a while (except for the drip tray - can't figure out how to mount it), but I finally filled it up.
