my only complaint with this beer is I wish it had more alcohol 5.5abv is almost a waste of time.

If it was a homebrew I'd blame it on your lack of skill. So I'll just blame it on your terrible palate :mug:

Paging @Qhrumpphsmsmdnsgamshphs

I just pictured Snuffy Snuffelupagus with huge black Dr. Marten boots, thin black braces and Staprest pants.

I have as much back hair as Snuffleupagus. Does that count? And I think I'm using my first proper brewery check to buy me some new oxbloods. My old black docs have seen better days.

Too busy watching intramural soccer, I reckon.

Not till the next Europa League match on Thursday afternoon.

Drinking my Winter Warmer. 7.5% ABV or so. So it's like, a triple-imperial or something.

What's the story on that? I saw where someone found a bottle of bud that was getting some interesting offers.

A guy offered a 30+ year old bottle of bud for trade - I think mainly as a joke. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f245/ft-budweiser-cellared-30-years-506664/index2.html
This thread is a guy looking for really bad beer to taste https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f38/iso-god-awful-beer-500758/

They worked out a trade. Not sure what for. I'm sending the can so they can do a side by side.
Bud - 30 year old can vs 30 year old bottle.

The can came to me as part of a BIF from @patrickgoss. He should see a bottle or two as part of this whole convoluted mess.

How was it?

Terrapin is currently on my list of "havent had a bad beer yet" but I havent had that.

I just finished a 64oz growler of Ballast Point Victory at Sea solo.

I delayed my bottling session until tomorrow.

Unless you get one soon, I wouldn't bother. This one is a little underwhelming really. I think the hops faded quickly and it comes across as a little soapy (in a perfumy sense). Still decent, probably about 3.5/5. It's probably closer to a Recreation Ale than a Hopsecutioner.

That's the kind of **** that will melt BK's teeth if he attempted to drink it. It has to taste like ass. ****.

Sticking with my cherry wheat. Ran the snowblower for a bit, helped carry baby stuff outta my house to our friends' car (they're adopting a baby tomorrow) :D had another beer with the dog, and now about to clean the new kegs and a couple others while watching some hockey in the basement.
