O-Ring Lubricant

Just to confirm, I was looking for Lubrifilm O-ring lube around here, so I talked to guys that run the water treatment and R/O systems here in the hospital I work at. They gave me a sample of "Dow Corning 111" Valve Lubricant and sealant.
I was going to try that but just wanted to confer with you guys first. From the description on the Dow Corning web site, it looks like the right stuff.

It says it is for use on water faucets so it should be fine. I just use plumbers silicone from the hardware store - also designed to lubricate water faucet seals

Back in the day this was called Compound 111 and we used it in industrial environments. Good stuff.
