Folks, I'm new to this forum, but most of you have come up with a lot of different recipes. I have experimented with a lot of pilsner variations in the 18 years I have been brewing, but one "taste" that seems to elude me, is that of the "original" Lonestar beer ( circa 1940 ) that I partook of in 1948 when visiting my kin in San Antonio. Maybe I remember enjoying it so much, because I was a young lad of 16, but I do know that the "stuff" that Pabst makes now in S.A. is definately not the same. I realize that my request is a pretty long reach, since most of you folks were not yet "hatched" that far back, but I am trying anyway.

G.S.
