I just kegged a light lager. It has a skunky smell, about like Moose Head.

I called myself being careful about light exposure, does anything else cause the skunk?

Is there anything I can do with this brew to cut the smell down? I don't mind too bad, I like Moose Head. However, I am betting SWMBO (who the light lager is for) will not like the smell.

I read the title, and the first thing that came to mind was those old "Bitter Beer Face" commercials......lol

Sorry about the hijack.... Now back to your regularly scheduled program.....:D

I guess with very light colored beers, you have to be VERY careful about light. From what I have been reading, just a few minutes of light can cause a skunky flavor.

This beer is about as pale as it gets.
