Mold on outside of bottle

So I went to pull a six pack of my brew to chill so I can bring over to my buddy's today. They've been in the bottles about 5-6 weeks. Anyway, I noticed some mold growing on the outside of some of the bottles. I washed it off, figuring it'll be fine. Is this a RDWHAHB moment?
 
I'm going to guess that you store them in your basement or some other humid dank place. Am I right? Same thing happens to my bottles in my basement.
You'll be fine.
 
You probably just got some beer on the outside when you bottled. Happened to me a couple of times.
