Does this mean I add the hops to the mash? Or are these hops that go in with my first running? The recipe in question is the janets brown ale. It says to reduce the 60 min addition by .75 oz and add a 1 oz mash hop addition
 
Throw them in the mash. Mash hops go in the mash. First wort hops go in with the first runnings.

this will be my second time brewing this recipie (first time was extract) It was one of the best extract beers I made.
