How do you pressure test a Pin Lock keg? Do I have to bring it somewhere or can I just put some CO2 in it and see if it holds pressure?

Close it, connect it to CO2 and run the gas up to 30 psi till you stop hearing the hissing sound. Disconnect the gas and listen for leaks. Spraying Starsan on the posts and around the lid will help look for leaks.

I have ball locks, but the same theory applies.

I pressurize to 50 PSI, then coat the posts, lid seal, and release valve with soapy water. If I see bubbles, I know it's not sealing. If I don't see bubbles, I disconnect it and let it sit for a few days. If it's still holding 50 PSI after a few days, I figure it's good to go.
