I have a couple of brews under my belt and I am thinking about doing a higher gravity beer while I finish off my current stock of beer. I am a fan of wheat beers and wit biers so I thought I would try to make a higher gravity version of the recipe. Hopefully I didn't completey go off course here with this recipe. Tell me what you think.

6 lbs Wheat LME
3 lbs Extra Light DME
2 lbs Orange Blossom Honey
1 lbs Carapils

2 oz Saaz [60 min]
1 oz Saaz [2 min]

1 oz Coriander [2 min]
1 oz Sweet Orange Peel [2 min]

Wyeast #3463 Forbidden Fruit

Will a starter be necessary since this is a higher gravity beer? If so could someone give me some simple instructions on how to make one?

:drunk:

I tried a high-grav Wit once, but I got too creative and dumped fruit juices in there. Ended up awful. I dumped most of it, but I kept a few bottles around to try again, "Just in case". It's been well over a year since I made it.
