Has anyone tried bottling Ed Worts apfelwein in corked wine bottles? If so, how did it turn out?

I think you could do this if you are making a still product vs. carbonated. In my opinion this product needs the extra zing of carbonation, though - so I avoid the wine bottles and just keg it or put it into 2 liter plastic soda bottles and force carb.

I bottle all of my Apfelwein in wine bottles. It goes down real smooth when chilled.

Nope - Apfelwein: Apple wine. Edwort started it because he wanted to duplicate german apple wine. Its the name that stuck.
