Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp)
14 days at 60F
2 lbs Light Dry Extract (8.0 SRM)
6 lbs 9.6 oz Pale Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM)
1 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM)
1 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM)
2.25 oz Magnum [16.00%] (60 min)
1.50 oz Centennial [10.50%] (5 min) (Aroma Hop)
2.50 oz Centennial [10.50%] (Dry Hop 7 days)

Steep grains in 150F water for 30 min.

Secondary for a total of 14 days, but dry hop for the last 7 days.

Let it condition for at least 2 months for best flavor development. If you have time, let it go longer...it tastes even better!

This has been my favorite brew to date. Big hop aroma and flavor, but not that bitter and very well balanced.

Neato. I've been thinking of doing a few small extract batches for fun. Something like this sounds like it would be worth it. By the way, do you have an All-grain version of this recipe?

Also, have you been mashing the 2-row called-for, or do you just steep it? Thanks

Just steep it.

My next attempt at this brew is to get rid of the LME all together and just use DME. Then, AG!
