I'm making Extract with Specialty Grains kits for my LHBC and have a recipe that uses 8 oz of Biscuit Malt which needs mashing.

Is there anything I can substitute?

Not that doesn't require mashing. But you can steep biscuit malts with good results in all but the lightest beers. If you add 1/4 pound two row, you can give instructions just like a steep but it'll be a mash.

Yea - I was thinking that perhaps since I'm not trying to get sugar but flavor it migt not matter!

These kits are for beginners/1st timers that are probably nervous. I want straight forward no worries kits!
