Hey kids, I just brewed Lil' Sparky's Nut Brown for the second time. It is an awesome beer by the way. But as I gathered some last minute items from my LHBS that I was lacking, I found out they were out of East Kent. They said they were subbing Glacier for the Goldings in their recipe kits. Not knowing a good sub offhand, I accepted the Glacier. After reading some of the descriptions, I don't think this was the best decision.
I guess we will see how this turns out. Actually it may be a decent accent for the Fuggles. Anyway, what is a decent sub for East Kent in case I run into this again?
