Uh Oh. Looks like another addiction.

Hello all,

Looks like I just found a new addiction! (admit it, it's not just a hobby. . .)

So, I'm in New York City. I brewed my first batch with a friend a month ago, and I'm hooked.

I'm starting now to do the research and get my stuff together.

The first batch will be a lemon wheat for the end of summer. That's going into a plastic primary, and an english bitter is going into another.

Thanks in advance for all the help. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions later.

You're 100% correct, this IS an addiction. Sounds like you are off to a great start. Ask questions whenever you have them. There are plenty of people here who are willing to help you.

Welcome, and the addiction only gets worse from there. you'll start brewing more and more soon you'll have a whole room dedicated to your brewery then one day you'll realize that while you walk down the isles in the supermarket your first thought as you look at the items is whether or not they can be fermented.

Really, you know the addiction has taken hold when you no longer have a room in your home dedicated to anything but brewing.
