i just poured a glass of my first Lager. Brewed on newyear's day, and after 6 weeks of fermenting, it tasted wierd. I kegged it 2 weeks ago and D A M N !!! what a difference. nice and clear, all the strange flavors dropped out. nice white, head and balanced, crisp, malty flavor. i would like to try decocting. anyone have a good german lager recipe that involves single decoction?

Just wanted to share some stoke from doing a process (lagering) that i had never tried!
