So once a year my company brings in 6 gallon buckets of wine and wine grapes for some local vinters. Well the other day we were moving around some pallets and found 4 6 gallon buckets of grape juice that have been sitting there since last September. The lids were bulging quite nicely but the grommet kept them from assploding. Since they were "bad" I offered to take one home. It's already pretty much fermented out from natural yeasts and I must say that they did an outstanding job. I pitched some EC-1118 and poured what would fit in a primary just in case. That left me with about a half gallon to get rid of. I've paid good money for worse wine. By the time I get through this half gallon maybe the rest of it will be ready to bottle.
