First Oktoberfest and melanoidin malt

I'm brewing my first Oktoberfest this weekend. This is only my second lager so "beer" with me. The recipe is as follows:

9 lbs Vienna
1 lb Dark Munich (9-14L)
1.5 oz Tettnanger (4.8%)
Wyeast Octoberfest/Munich Lager combo (my lhbs only had one Octoberfest pack left so I figured I'd do one each of Munich and Octoberfest combined)

OG = 1.055
IBU = 24

I'm not adding any crystal malt as I want something a little more traditional. I was also thinking of doing a single rest as I'm not interested in doing a decoction. Would adding 1-2 oz of Melanoidin be acceptable in an Oktoberfest to make up for this? I've done so in a Helles and it turned out wonderful.

Also, any recommendations on mash temps if I'm doing a single rest?
