Screw top bottle reuse?

I know it's fairly cheap to buy some new bottles, but I did notice in my reusing process of old bottles that I accidentally capped some bottles that were originally screw top bottles. Does anyone know if this is bad or not?

ohh man you're so screwed!!!

seriously though, I think I saw in a post somewhere someone who did the same thing. Nobody made it seem like a big problem.
 
The walls at the top of the bottle are normally thinner than the pryoffs, so just be careful capping them. use a bench capper.
