beersmith hop addition times
cascade @60 and 30
willamette @15 and 5
I did willy 5 min into the boil and 15 min into the boil
cascade at 30 and at flame out.......did I do it backazzwords?
 
Yes, that is backwards. The times show how long the hops should boil, so if you have a 60 minute Cascade addition, you need to boil the hops for 60 minutes.

You'll still end up with beer - not what the recipe was predicting, but still beer, and it will probably be good!
 
Yes, as the above post states... those times refer to 'how much time left in the boil' for the additions.

But let us know how that ends up! With both being lower AA hops, it might end up pretty good :)
 
well its been 25 days fermenting so I took my first hydro reading 1.010.....and DAM IT TASTES GOOD!
 
Thats why I love cascade. You can toss him in at any time and it will always turn out good. My favorite pales are all cascade.
