I just pitched yeast (smack pack) on an american pale ale (1.054 @ 76 deg). I didn't realize until after I pitched that the nutrient pack wasn't all the way broken. It only had a pin hole and almost all of the starter pack was still in the little bag. By the time I pitched, the entire pack was swollen a little, but not like a balloon.

1. Should I be concerned

2. What do I do if I see no activity after a day or so?

Thanks

Thanks...

I feel guilty for saying this, but I almost feel the same as I did the night before my son was born. hahaha

1) No
2) Wait another day or so.

The nutrient is just s helper things'll go without it.

I should have RDWHAHB!! I just checked on it, and.............. burp....................burp..............................burp.

The magic has started.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!!
