we did our first beer a stout extract brew with specialty grain steeping... besides a little bit of sediment in the bottom the beer is great!

after watching 20+ hours of video on all grain and reading on here... i want to move on already! although i know im gonna do atleast 2 more extracts just to make sure this wasn't a fluke.

Congrats! Great feeling, especially once you get to taste it. 
I started doing BIAB (Brew In A Bag) and love it.

If by sediment you mean yeast, that's normal in homebrew and craft brewing. If it bothers you, just pour correctly to avoid it. In some beer styles people will purposely drink the yeast too...
