I'll (tentatively) be brewing 30 gallons or so this Sunday and I'll be webcasting at livestream.com/maltz. Something could still come up preventing the brew day and if it does I'll update this thread. I'm planning on being started by about 9 am EST.

I haven't decided yet for sure how much and what yet, but it will be between 30-40 gallons and could me as much as 50 if a fellow MALTZ member decides to come and give me enough notice, as he'll be taking 5 or 10g home with him. Any MALTZ member who sees this is welcome to come and help - I'll probably need it!

I got tired of waiting for PseudoChef to send me a damn webcam, so I dropped $30 on a cheapo logitech at RadioShack today and I'm playing with it now and I'm live at the address above if anyone wants to come hang out in my virtual pub. :D :mug:

The Tefalbier and Patersbier (Enkel) are pretty much straight out of the last issue of Zymurgy with some modifications to what I had on hand. I couldn't find mace, so I'm substituting some Sweet Gale in the Enkel.

On the brew schedule for Sunday:

The brewcast will start somewhere around 10 am EST, give or take 20-30 min.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check out the brewcast. 45 gallons in 12 hours - it was a good day.

I didn't get any pics of the process (that's what the webcam was for), but I did get a pic of the carnage afterward (all but the 3 on the far right were brewed today - 35 gallons for me + 10 gallons for a buddy to take home with him):

55g in primaries/secondaries, another 20g in kegs waiting... life is good.

Sorry I missed this.
It's be be cool to just take 1 weekend and brew until I can't stand anymore. I could probably do 3 10G batches a day and be set. That'd last me most of the year!

It was cool, but even with a buddy helping me, it was a very long day. All of the fermenters are cranking away though. Now I just have to figure out where to put all of this once it's done fermenting. :D

I probably don't have to brew for the rest of the year now, but of course I will anyway. :mug:

I typically don't turn the cam on until after I'm mashed in so it will probably start somewhere between 6 and 6:30.

Oh come on now... that's on a different channel all together. Your mom has the url. :D

I commented about the trolling... Livestream support wrote back and says they are working on rolling out improved chat moderation features because that is a growing problem. Hopefully it will happen soon.

Thanks, Sacc. I'm sure that they'll take care of it somehow, but I doubt it will be before I brew again on 9/11 so I went to ustream.tv/ohiobrewtus because I can put a password on the room.

I'm not going to put the password here because the trollers basically got this site handed to them and I don't want to have to deal with that again, so if you think you'll want to watch one of my brewcasts sometime just shoot me a PM and I'll send you the password.
