Hi All,
I'm working on a morebeer.com AG kit - 'Vinny's Blind Pig IPA.'
I probably pitched my yeast a little too warm, around 80 degrees (because it was very late and we're dealing with a sick baby).
I'm using a white labs california ale yeast that I let sit in the bottle at room temperature for about 2.5 hours before pitching, but I didn't create a starter.
Its been about 12 hours and I'm seeing nothing.
I have a 5 month old Irish Ale (wyeast) in the fridge, and a Safale S-04 dry ale yeast that I could possibly use if someone thinks I need to go to desperate measures.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Jason
