I have been kegging for a few years now and using a picnic tap. I finally broke down an ordered a tap handle assembly. The big question is where do I drill the 1 inch hole? I do not want to hit anything critical when drilling. I have a standard side-by-side fridge and was debating on just going through the door and using a service loop of line so I can still get in and out. Any advice?

Through the door should be fine on most fridges. Do not drill through the side or you will risk turning your fridge into a large door stop.
