This'll be my first go at a lager, and I was hoping y'all could take a look at the recipe. I'm using some cardamom, wintergreen leaves, and sweet orange peel in the mix. The quantities is what I'm most worried about. Any way thanks in advance!

Honestly, "cardamom, wintergreen leaves, and sweet orange peel" don't come to mind when I think of a good lager.

I usually make my first attempt at a style a straightforward one so as to develop a controlled base to build on. Even without the above ingredients you have a complex grist.

Would this maybe make a better ale than lager? Now that I'm looking at it again it strikes me as more of an ale. You're right.... I should probably keep the first lager pretty simple to eliminate any possible issues.
