I was looking on the McMaster Carr site for some nicer hose clamps and noticed these shrink to fit clamps. Does anyone have any experience with these? They would be single use like the crimp on style but they might have a nice clean look to them.

No experience, but I'd be worried that the heat needed to shrink them might cause deformation of the hose. A heat gun puts out quite a bit, and if using standard vinyl, it might be an issue.

Then again, I may be talking out my arse. Again. Or is it, "still"?...

$3.71 each plus shipping, non reusable...i'm out.

Typically, cooling systems operate at a fairly low pressure, not saying they wouldn't work, just likely they they don't have the stamina of a metal clamp.

Would give a nice clean look though. I have used nylon electrical zip ties on my mash tun tubing (no pressure to spek of), they cinch pretty well, look trim, and cost pennies each.
